ADA Recruitment & Talent

People. Businesses. Better matched.

We help Midlands businesses find the people they need to move forward.

Permanent & temporary recruitment Coventry, Warwickshire, Birmingham & the wider Midlands

Independent. Founder-led.

ADA is new. The experience behind it isn’t.

ADA was founded by Alison Dutton, who brings more than 25 years’ experience across recruitment, business leadership, client relationships and business transformation.

You get the judgement of someone who has led recruitment at senior level, with the personal service, responsiveness and flexibility of an independent agency.

About ADA

Our point of view

Recruitment isn’t about sending more candidates. It’s about making better matches.

So we take time to understand your business, the vacancy, the team, the culture and what success in the role actually looks like.

We listen. We keep you informed. And we only introduce candidates we believe are worth meeting, rather than sending CVs to look busy.

We use technology and AI where they make recruitment better and more efficient, but the relationship, the conversations and the judgement stay with people.

For businesses

Hiring for your business.

Whether you're growing, replacing someone who's leaving, strengthening your team or simply need the right person for a business-critical role, we start by understanding what you actually need — not by searching a database.

Before we search, we get to know your business.

A job description only tells part of the story. The better we understand the whole picture, the better the match, and the fewer CVs you have to read.

  • The business What you do, who your customers are and where you’re heading.
  • The vacancy What the role really involves, beyond the job description.
  • The team Who they’ll work with, who they’ll report to and what’s missing.
  • The culture How you work, and the kind of person who does well with you.
  • Success What a great hire will have achieved in their first year.

Permanent recruitment

For roles that are part of your longer-term plans. We handle the search from brief to offer: understanding the role, researching the market, approaching and assessing candidates, arranging interviews and supporting both sides through to offer and acceptance.

You see a focused shortlist of people worth meeting, each with a clear reason why.

Temporary recruitment

For when you need cover or extra capacity: a busy period, a project, a period of absence, or while a permanent appointment is made. We match people to the work and to your team, not just to the dates.

Not sure whether a role should be permanent or temporary? We’ll talk it through with you.

How we work

How a search with ADA works.

  1. Understand

We start with your business: what you do, where it’s heading, the team the person will join and what success in the role looks like.

  2. Research

We do our homework on the market and the people in it, and look beyond whoever happens to be applying.

  3. Introduce

We only put forward people we believe are worth meeting, and we tell you why.

  4. Keep in touch

You’ll always know where things stand. We do what we say we’ll do, when we say we’ll do it.

About ADA

ADA is new. The experience behind it isn’t.

ADA Recruitment & Talent is an independent, founder-led recruitment business, set up to combine significant recruitment and business experience with a more personal, responsive and commercially aware approach.

Businesses need the right people for all sorts of reasons. You may be growing, replacing someone who’s leaving, strengthening a team or bringing in skills you don’t currently have. Whatever the reason, you don’t need a stream of CVs, or to explain your business three times to three different consultants. You need someone who takes the time to understand what you do, where you’re heading and what the right person looks like, and then only introduces people worth meeting.

That’s what ADA is built to do.

Personal

Small enough to be personal.

Credible

Experienced enough to be credible.

Modern

Modern enough to use technology intelligently.

Commercial

Commercial enough to understand your business.
